I often get asked what is the best way to generate laser target traffic to a website. My reply is always the same, “It is simple use the power of article marketing.” You see there is nothing in my opinion as powerful at getting traffic than having a few thousand articles out there with your websites URL placed in the bio box.
The great thing about article marketing is that it is free and all it cost you is half an hours work tops per article. And the great thing is a well written article submitted to a article directory like ezinearticles.com can result in you getting a number one page position with Google and it hasn't cost you a dime. Whereas other marketers will have probably paid through the nose for there number one position.
Now I will admit for me writing articles is easy because I have over twenty years of business experience having run a number of successful bricks and mortar businesses and for the last five years a number of successful Internet based businesses.
However for some people it isn't quite so easy and the temptation is to either pay a ghost writer to write them for them or go to JV's (joint venture) and downloading those nasty PLR articles that have done the rounds and every man and his dog just happens to own a copy.
The truth of the matter is writing articles is only as hard as you make it for yourself. Were not talking about reinventing the wheel here you know.
So here is how you go about writing articles yourself. Not only writing articles but ones that people will be interested in and want to read.
First of all you go to somewhere like ezinearticles .com ok, you find articles that are related to your niche. Say your niche is Internet marketing then you could look for articles on affiliate marketing.
You find a article that is suitable for you and your niche. You take that article and you change the title. Now it is important that you try to come up with a new title that is different and unique. For example the article might be titled, 'Make Money From Affiliate Marketing,' well that title isn't going to help your article stand out from the crowd now is it and anyway you don't want to be using the same title as mentioned. So try changing the title to something like, 'Affiliate Marketing The Definitive Answers,' you see how this title is not only different but it is sharp to the point and it will make people interested enough to want to read your article.
Next you take the first chapter and you read it carefully twice, yes twice, once so you know what it is about and twice so it sinks in. Then you just rewrite it in your own own words. A good trick is to get yourself a good dictionary and use it to help you change some of the words. You simply look at what words the original author has used and then try to find alternatives in the dictionary. For example the original author may have used the word, 'Intelligent,' in there article well you could replace that with the word, 'Smart' for example, or 'of a high IQ,' I am sure that you get the picture.
Once you have done this with the first chapter you then move on to the second chapter and do the same with that and then the third chapter and so on and so on until you have a completed article that is new, unique to you but at the same time interesting and worth reading.
Ok admittedly it might take you a little longer than half an hour for the first few articles but once you get the hang of it you will be creating an article within half an hour forty minutes tops.
So you see using my formula when writing quality informative articles isn't as hard as it sounds. You now have the formula for writing article after article.
I suggest that you aim to write and submit at least five articles a day. Do this daily and you will soon see an increase in traffic to your websites over time.
