When I was a newbie, I submitted to many search engines to let my new website indexed by Google and other search engines. But it took a long time just to see my new website to be placed into their index (about 6 weeks or even more). But now I know how to getting listed in Google in under 48 hours. I have proved it. So, what we can do then? My suggestion is: Never use the Google Submission Form at the following URL http://www.google.com/addurl.html ! You should NEVER USE this form or any other of the top search engine's submission forms (Yahoo, MSN, Altavista, etc).
There are 2 main ways to get your website indexed by Google within 48 hours:
1. All you will need to do is write one article based on the topic of your website! Once we have done this, we will visit many of the popular article directories on the web, and we will simply submit our article to those directories. Once they have added our article and link to their site, the search engines will visit their website, and then follow all the links on their site. One of those links will be a link to our site, then BOOM ! Our website is indexed by Google and other search engines.
Try to submit your article to other article directories to get more links. The more links you get, the quicker you will get indexed.

To persuade someone to add your link to their website, you must give them a good reason to do this. Try to contact sites that are highly related to yours and always think of a way that you can offer them something their visitors would benefit from if they add your link.
